Continuity of SeaCare

In our work with seafarers, we regularly hear about the pressures that are placed on their mental health and general well being in their line of work.

Our Continuity of SeaCare programme aims to provide support to seafarers and their families so that we can tackle these issues. The SeaCare programme specifically aims to:

  • Improve Seafarers mental health and well being;
  • Help seafarers and their families solve any problems that they may face – including financial issues, health concerns and also relationship issues.

This is a completely independent and confidential service, which is available to companies who wish for a bespoke service to help their seafarers and their families deal with these common issues.

If you would like to learn more about our SeaCare programme, then please get in touch and we will prepare a specific proposal which is tailored to meet your needs.

The Importance of SeaCare

We are currently working with countless seafarers who are suffering from mental and physical problems on account of the work that they do in treacherous conditions far away from friends, family and loved ones.

These issues can not only impact on the seafarer and their family, but also on their general performance at work which can create safety concerns both for the seafarer affected and others.

This is why the mental and physical welfare of seafarers and their families is so important to all involved in the maritime industry. There are a number of ways that your company can get involved to support us on our mission to support seafarers. For more information on this, head over to our corporate support page.
