This is in memory of our wonderful mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt, friend and neighbour who passed away on 17th December 2023. Her much-loved father, Colin Purgavie, was killed in 1943 whilst serving in the Navy during World War II while Mum was only 7 and throughout her life she has always actively supported Missions to Seafarers. Before arthritis took hold, she would often sell flags in Beverley town centre and there was no debate where the collection from her funeral would go. |
