Val was my mum and came from a seafaring family. She married my Dad who was also a seafarer.
She described herself as a committed Christian and recognised the importance of seafarers and the challenges that they and their families encountered.
Friends have already donated to the Mission in memory of her and we hope to raise more funds for this excellent Christian charity.
